ROBOTECH @ DTU (20-22JAN 2012)

Officially Conclusion: 

Workshop had been a successful one at Delhi Technological University, educating students on basics of open source hardware software,hardware components,robot behavior algorithms and other kinematics of robotic areas.

The aim of first ROBOTECH was to make students comfortable to work with hardware and software to make robots.

Students were given lectures on Robotics and hands on practicals for 18 hours.

The objective of this workshop was to built a robot which could perform the following behaviors

*Motion(Forward,Backward,Left,Right,Sweep,Random)

*Obstacle Avoidance 

*Decision Arbiter

Robot Educational Kit-ROBO-ED

  was the model robot with which we worked during the workshop

Here is a glimpse of the ROBOT behavior students try to achieve in the workshop.

After the workshop, as a token of achievement students were handed certificates of successful participation signed by Prof P.B Sharma(Vice Chancellor DTU) and Mr. Aakash Sinha(CEO Omnipresent Robot Technologies).

ROBOTECH @DTU was also a special treat to the robot loving communities of students cause of the special guest lectures form DRDO, DST and FICCI made it a highly intellectual and informative session on modern day robotics and AI .

ROBOTECH 1.0 @ DTU was a wonderful experience for all.

We like to thank the students,those who participated in ROBOTECH 1.0 and hope to see them again in the following sessions of ROBOTECH workshop.

Hence forth we conclude ROBOTECH WORKSHOP 1.0 @ DTU

My team AIR(Artificial Intelligence and Robotics) along with Omnipresent Tech have organized a Robotics festival under the name Robotech 2012.Any one interested to learn Ai,robotics,Machine Learning ect must participate in Robotech.It is being organized in Delhi Technological University.
We are also going to display our robots at 70y DCE celebration(7-8 JAN 2012).

DATES SHIFTED--NOW ROBOTECH 2012

The DATES for ROBOTECH has been shifted.

-->The workshop will now be held on 20th-22nd January 2012 (which earlier would have have been 17Dec, 18-19Dec and 22-23 Dec 2011)

-->20th Jan 2012 will be the Inaugural and Orientation Day

-->21-22 Jan 2012 will be the dates for the Workshop.The duration of the workshop will remain same for all years.

-->The Course content of RoboTech will remain the same.

-->Dates of RoboTech were shifted due to large students request as

a)The dates of Robotech were clashing with the Winter Training programs organized in DTU as a result many interested second and senior years students were not able to participate.

b)Many Students interested were not available cause of the winter vacations.    

-->The Registration for RoboTech are still open.Now you can register till 15th Jan 2012

RoboTech 2012:Registration Starts NOW.

The registration process,for RoboTech 2012 has started.The registration is on first come first serve bases,due to which the registration might close before the predicted period(that is close before 9th January 2012) if our maximum students handling capacity is meet.It is advised to the interested students to register as soon as possible.
